Exil Information

Exil is a prescription medicine that is available as a Syrup. Secondary and off-label uses of Exil have also been mentioned below.

The optimal dosage of Exil is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Exil also has some side effects, the most common being Drowsiness, Headache, Rash. While these are the most often observed Exil side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Exil are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Exil is Unknown for pregnant women and Unknown for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Exil's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Exil related warnings section.

Exil can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Exil in conditions like Kidney Disease, Heart Disease, Peptic Ulcer. The section on Exil contraindications lists all such conditions.

  • Is the use of Exil safe for pregnant women?


    It is not known what effect Exil will have on pregnant women, because no research work has been carried out on this till date.

  • Is the use of Exil safe during breastfeeding?


    Information about safety of Exil for women who are breastfeeding is not available since scientific research on this is yet to be done.

  • What is the effect of Exil on the Kidneys?


    Very few cases of side effects of Exil on kidney have been reported.

    Exil has very mild side effects on the liver.
