Cefter Information

Cefter is a prescription medicine that is available as a Capsule, Syrup, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections. Cefter also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

It works by preventing the cell wall synthesis in bacteria by binding to specific proteins (penicillin-binding proteins). The cell wall protects the bacteria from the environment, in the absence of this cell wall, the bacteria becomes vulnerable and dies.
