Olmesar is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of High BP. Secondary and off-label uses of Olmesar have also been mentioned below.

The correct dosage of Olmesar depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The most common side effects of Olmesar are Upper respiratory tract infection. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Olmesar can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Such side effects of Olmesar normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

In addition, Olmesar's effect is Severe during pregnancy and Mild for lactating mothers. In addition, Olmesar's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Olmesar related warnings section.

Olmesar can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Olmesar in conditions like Bradycardia (Slow Heart Rate), Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension). The section on Olmesar contraindications lists all such conditions.
