Interaction between Alcohol and Om Od
Taking Om Od with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Yes, Om Od can cause diarrhea. However, diarrhea could be a sign of contracted infection too. If you experience severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine, inform the doctor right away without further delay.
Om Od should be taken 30 - 60 minute before meal. Preferably it should be taken once a day in the morning before breakfast. However, some people may require to take it twice in a day, in this case, 1 tablet should be taken in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening before meal. Please consult your doctor regarding the exact dosage regime of medicine and follow his/her instruction.

This is because a long-term use of Om Od can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking [medicine] for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
