Ezimet F should start showing effects in 2 weeks time. It is safe to be used for as long as it is recommended by your doctor. Do not use excessive amount or for a prolonged period of time. Always speak to your doctor before discontinuing Ezimet F or when you intend to use it for more days. 

Ezimet F is a topical corticosteroid which is used for treating conditions like psoriasis and eczema. It is not to be used on face and that too for treating acne. Acne can be treated by using anti-acne preparations containing active ingredients like alpha-hydroxy acids, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, clay, sulfur, etc. Acne is rather one of the side effects caused by Ezimet F. 

Ezimet F may cause delayed weight gain and slowed growth in children on whom it is used topically. Therefore, you must talk to a doctor before using Ezimet F on children. 

No, Ezimet F is not recommended to be used for ringworm. Ringworm is a fungal infection and it is not caused by any worm. It presents as a silver or red colored patch which may be swollen, itchy, scaly or dry. Ringworm can manifest in any part of the body, including groin (jock itch) and scalp (tenia capitis). The rash is usually ring-shaped on places other than face, neck or scalp. At times, the rash starts spreading. It should be treated using antifungal creams containing ingredients like clotrimazole, miconazole, etc. 

Yes, Ezimet F can be used for the treatment of brown patches on the skin or melasma, however, it is not used alone. It is always used in combination with hydroquinone, isotretinoin and sometimes glycolic acid. Melasma is a common skin condition. It is usually manifested as brown to gray-brown patches on the forehead, bridge of the nose, cheeks, upper lip, and chin. It can also invade forearms and neck. Alongside topical treatment, protection from Sun is also suggested as a treatment.
