Interaction between Food and O2 Tablet
You can take O2 Tablet with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and O2 Tablet
Consult your doctor before consuming alcohol while taking O2 Tablet as it can have severe side effects.
Take O2 if your doctor has prescribed it to you. However, keep a close check on blood sugar levels as metformin is known to cause hypoglycemia( sudden dip in blood sugar levels). In case you are experiencing severe hypoglycemia, please inform your doctor immediately.
O2 is a brand name of ofloxacin. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called fluoroquinolones. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic, used for treating bacterial infections, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, urinary, respiratory, skin, gastrointestinal, anthrax, bone, and eye infections.
Do not take O2 along with milk. It reduces the effectiveness of medicine by reducing the absorption of a drug. Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine with milk.
O2 should be taken with a meal. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. Drinking extra water will help prevent some unwanted effects of this medicine. Do not take this medicine along with milk, yogurt, or other dairy products, it may reduce the absorption of a drug. Take it exactly as directed by the physician.
O2 is not recommended as the first-line of drug for treating sinus infection. However, if there are no other alternatives available then you can take it, after doctor's advice.
