Yes, Medrogest is used as a contraceptive (birth control method). For contraception one injection of Medrogest is given over the duration of 3 months, a total of 4 injections are given throughout the year for effective contraception. The fertility is restored normally after 10 months following the last injection of this drug on an average basis.
