Gatrid

Gatrid is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Conjunctivitis. Secondary and off-label uses of Gatrid have also been mentioned below.

The right dosage of Gatrid depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

The side effects typically associated with Gatrid include Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea, Dizziness. While these are the most often observed Gatrid side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Gatrid are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

In addition, Gatrid's effect is Moderate during pregnancy and Severe for lactating mothers. It is important to know if Gatrid has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Gatrid related warnings section.

Gatrid is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Brain and Nervous System, Tendon Injury (Tendinopathy) are examples of such conditions.
