Yes, you can take it with seafood safely if you are not allergic to seafood. However, there is a lot of scientific evidence that Biozaar AM has shown very strong interaction with grapefruit juice hence you are highly recommended to avoid grapefruit juice with this drug.
Biozaar AM is a brand name of amlodipine. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called calcium channel blocker. It is available in solid oral dosage forms like tablet and capsule. It is used in the treatment of high blood pressure (high BP) and coronary artery disease. It is not recommended for heart failure. It is also used in the treatment of angina (chest pain).
Biozaar AM is calcium channel blocker. It works by inhibiting the movement of calcium into vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac cells which inhibits the contraction of cardiac muscle and vascular smooth muscle and reduce electrical conduction within heart cell and dilate blood vessel.
