Yes, Acolate might cause irritation which is stinging or burning sensation in the nose but it occurs only in a few cases. It is a rare side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause of irritation is unknown. It goes away after discontinuation of this drug. If you are experiencing excessive irritation in the nose after using this drug, then discuss it with your doctor.
